Thankful Thanksgiving

Wow! It’s been a few months since we’ve posted anything on the Hékaté blog. It’s been busy over here with proposals, client work, family…and every time I sat down to write something, I’d get side-tracked. Now, here we are, a few months down the road and am FINALLY able to sit and write specifically for the blog. This is exactly what I counsel clients against - being sporadic in their posting. We all know - consistency is key. I’ll do better.

But the truth is, I am grateful to have had the past few months to “dive in” to the craziness of launching a business, working with new clients, and somewhat of a routine with school and activities. I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with my growing list of clients. I’ve been able to spend more time than I’ve ever been able to in the past with my kids - driving them and from school and attending activities when permitted. And, I’ve been able to delve deeper into board work. In all, this professional pivot has changed my life in ways I could’t have imagined.

On this Thanksgiving weekend, I am thankful to my clients, partners, and friends, for their continued support. I have enjoyed every moment of the last few months. To my valued clients, thank you for trusting me with your strategic communications needs. I am looking forward to what the future holds. Stay tuned. We’re just getting started!
